WALL OF HONOR PURPOSE
- To Honor Veterans who live in this community or are now deceased and lived in Park Place
- A Veterans picture may be on the Park Place Wall of Honor as long as he or she is a resident in Park Place. When a veteran passes
away, the picture will remain on the wall as long as a family member/significant other resides in the community.
- The Memorial Plaque is to honor Park Place Veterans who were deceased at the time of the Wall of Honor dedication, and whose spouse
lived in Park Place.
- As Veterans move into our community, their picture will be taken and placed on our Wall of Honor, if they so desire.
- If a veteran moves from Park Place they may take their picture from the Wall of Honor.
GUIDELINES FOR THE BOOK OF TRIBUTES FOR PARK PLACE
- Articles may be written for a veteran who is currently living in Park Place or for a deceased Veteran who previously lived in Park Place
and whose spouse or other family member continues to live in the community.
- In the Book of Tributes, there will be a limit of one page, front and back, per Veteran. The procedure for inclusion of a Veteran
into our Book of Tributes;
- Contact a committee member to have an interview OR
- Use and fill out the form located in the left front pocket of the Book of Tributes
- Complete the provided form with the information requested. (NOTE: the info on the form may be edited as/if
required.)
- Provide a photo of the Veteran (encouraged but optional)
- Once completed, give the form and photo to any member of the Wall of Honor Committee. The form will be typed, the photo will be
scanned, and the completed page will be placed in a sheet protector and inserted in the Book of Tributes.
- The Book of Tributes is displayed on the table near our Wall of Honor.
